Merging a Prospect Account with an ERP Customer record

1.Prospects that are created in WPCRM can be merged with customer records after the customer has been created in your ERP system.  This preserves any address information, opportunities, custom field data, contacts and activity from the prospect account and makes it visible on the newly added ERP customer account.

2.Open the Prospect Account record.

3.Click Edit to edit the prospect account.

4.Click the “Convert to Customer…” button.

5.Enter the account number for the customer record (the ERP account number); click Go.

6.Check the box next to the matching customer record; click merge.

7.All prospect information will be merged with the new customer record and the two records will merged into one.
